Updation

This past weekend has been really busy. Friday night and Saturday morning I had my Rivi swim meet. I swam the 400 Individual Medley, 500 Free, 200 Free, 50 Free, 200 Breaststroke and the 100 Backstroke. I was signed up for more events on Sunday, but I didn't swim them. It was actually a lot of fun, I was nervous, but I got best times in every event minus one.

Saturday night was our church hayride at the Koss's farm. We sat on haybales and talked forever, then the hayrides were fun and taking walks in the dark is a blast! :) Towards the end though, I was getting extremely tired... and I was so happy to crawl into my bed that night.

Sunday was church. Pastor Johnston preached in the morning from Genesis and Pastor Fairs preached in the evening about Faithfulness. I was convicted that I need to be more faithful in doing my quiet-time. My problem is I just do it when I have time, not at a set time every single day. You can pray for me that I would find a time that will work well.

Yesterday was Halloween. My little sister Jessica and I carved pumpkins all afternoon. I can remember doing that when I was little, and how getting my hands all slimy pulling the seeds out was so cool, and now Jessica is the same way. :) You should have driven by our house, our pumpkins looked so cute from the road! :) I ended up going over to church to watch "Luther" with people from our church. That was an okay time. If you haven't seen that movie I recommend it, I've seen it like three or four times, so it wasn't that exciting for me.

Today I have to babysit all morning, then I have a Spanish test. I come home from that go to practice and then work from six to nine. It'll be a long day, but I'm actually looking forward to it, because when I'm busier I tend to get more things done faster. :)

"If I am not allowed to laugh in heaven, I don't want to go there." - Martin Luther

Yeah I see what you guys are saying, but at the same time - heaven wouldn't be heaven without laughter, it wouldn't be like the Bible promised. I don't think I would want to go to a place for the rest of eternity where I couldn't laugh... would you?
