January

Happy New Year everybody!

At the moment I think this year is going to be great. I turn 16 in nineteen days and I'll be able to drive. That will be a big help to my mom and it will make a difference in how much I work. School is going well, though its helping me to think that I'm halfway done with the year and I only have one more semester left. But then when I try to think of all the positive things I can't help but think that last year I was thinking the same thing, I had my hopes and my dreams. But I shattered a lot of them. I did a lot of things that I can never change, not really thinks I regret, but things that changed my future. *sigh* I'll stop there, please tell me what you think?

I'm also writing this post because I need to change my song. I don't think "My December" goes very well in January. But its definitely one of my favorite songs.

Quote of the post:
"If all our misfortunes were laid in one common heap whence everyone must take an equal portion, most people would be contented to take their own." - Socrates

Song of the post:
"Think of me" - Phantom of the Opera
~ I love singing this song.

There is a difference between cheesy quotes and good quotes. This falls in the good quote category. I'm guessing Socrates wasn't around when cheesy quotes were invented...

Oh I've definitely changed my future in the past year too...for better or for worse I don't know yet. But I do know that as long as I trust in God and only in God, I can weather any storm.

In general though, 2005 was a good year :-).

I can't wait til you can drive! You can come visit me on weekends!!!

I'm nearly four months past my 18th birthday and I've never had a driver's license :-)
